Front clip assembly continues...

Got the other fender on, cowl cover and gravel pan. A little bit of tweaking to get things in place, but the fit is looking pretty good considering where I started. More to come later in the week...

Reassembling the front clip continues...

Work continues! Mounted the driver's side fender and prepped the Passenger's side fender. New fasteners off eBay make the job go smoothly.

Wrapping up bodywork...

Spent some more time working on the body today. Down to just minor touch ups to get it ready for paint. I seem to have misplaced my fender extension for the passenger side and am trying to locate one ASAP as I should be ready for paint within a week!!!

Where it will be painted and by whom remains up in the air...

Powder coated Craiger wheels and new knock-offs...

Got the knock-off caps today. The mounting screws are too short, but I gotta say, I like the look. Just need the chrome nuts and I think they'll look great!

Powder coating rusty Craiger wheels...

I've known since purchasing the Commuter that the wheels on it were going to change. Having recently picked up another project with a donor car with a set of rusty Cragar S/S wheels (which I love) I decided to make them work for the wagon.

The wheels have been blasted and now powder coated in Wimbledon White to match the roof. They aren't perfect, but they actually look pretty good. Now I just need to grab a set of knock-off style centers. I was originally planning to paint the center of the rim a bright metallic silver, but I think I will keep them solid white. But, I might add a 1/4" chrome trim line. Your thoughts are welcomed!
