This is a blog that follows the restoration of my classic 1967 Mercury Commuter Station Wagon. The wagon is a restomod built for family travel. Please click on any image on any of the pages for the larger picture. Thanks for looking!
Got the other fender on, cowl cover and gravel pan. A little bit of tweaking to get things in place, but the fit is looking pretty good considering where I started. More to come later in the week...
Great to see some updates, been following your progress over here in Australia for some time. I know how hard it is to keep motivation for a project car so glad to see you're still working on her
Thanks for the encouragement. It's been distractions with home projects and a couple other vehicles that have really been the culprit, but I'm back on the move. Things will get pretty exciting when I go to paint it. I've never painted a vehicle before, so it will be an experience. There is a local body shop that rents out their spray booth on weekends, and that's what I will be doing. Like everything else on this project, I'm not letting my lack of experience hold me back from taking on the challenge. Cheers!
