A new home for my projects...

Very excited about the move to our new home that comes with a outbuilding for my car projects!

It's a 30' x 40' outbuilding with power, 12' ceilings, a 16' wide door on the front and a 9' wide x 10' high door on the side. It also included 5-12' high x 9' wide x 4' deep industrial racks. I will be moving the 4-post lift from our current home as well.

I finally have the space I need to do the paint on the wagon! Primer will be done once we complete the move and get settled in.

Paint delayed due to moving!

I know this has been dragging out, but for a good reason. At the end of the month, we will be moving into a new home complete with a 30' x 40' outbuilding. This means I can paint the car on site! It also means that I will have a ton of room to spread out to work on projects.

I will post photos of the new shop once I am in and set up. Until then, thanks for hanging in there!

Still no primer, but...

Still delayed due to life and weather on getting the car into primer, but I did go ahead and drill the holes for the emblems on the rear quarter. The "Commuter" emblem was there, but I found a nice set of "Sport Wagon" emblems (from a Buick, I think) along with a set of race flag emblems from either a Cyclone or Corvette (I forget).

I've been waiting to see these on the car for a couple of years. But, they are back off with the hopes that this Saturday I can finally spray the Ultimate 2K.

Rain delay...

Got the rust repaired and sealed off the repair with seam sealerI still need to wipe it down and coat with Chassis Black to finish it, but that will have to wait.

Unfortunately, the weather is not cooperating with my plans this weekend and I will have to delay putting the car in 2K until the following weekend. With any amount of luck. next weekend I will be posting photos of the car all one color!
